A stranger in my own land
A force that holds no sway
Am I to be like shifting sand
And change so I may stay?.
What rights I had now silenced
My voice a whimper too
Now threatened with a violence
That shouts right back at you
A stranger in my own land
The emptiness I feel
My destiny in strange hands
Without the chance to heal
Stark wilderness a void as such
No place that i call home
Behind a fence devoid of touch
Forever must I roam.
A force that holds no sway
Am I to be like shifting sand
And change so I may stay?.
What rights I had now silenced
My voice a whimper too
Now threatened with a violence
That shouts right back at you
A stranger in my own land
The emptiness I feel
My destiny in strange hands
Without the chance to heal
Stark wilderness a void as such
No place that i call home
Behind a fence devoid of touch
Forever must I roam.
